Destination Wedding Photographer
based in Tuscany, Italy

I am a Destination Wedding Photographer. I live in Tuscany – halfway between Siena and Florence.
Even if I feel a strong bond with my country, I consider myself a citizen of the world. I love to travel and discover new cultures. At the same time, I am looking for someone who wants to have their love story told passionately.

I LIKE TO SAY THAT I HAVE LIVED SEVERAL LIVES.

I was, at one time, a Jet pilot. I’m also a father, a scuba diver and a life companion.
In many of these activities, it is not allowed to make mistakes because you rarely get a second chance.

That’s why being a wedding photographers something that comes naturally to me, the commitment and mindset I apply to your wedding come from the awareness that:

Every moment,
if not captured,
will be lost forever.

I’m Federico Pannacci, an Italy destination wedding photographer based in Tuscany, specializing in emotional storytelling, refined editorial imagery, and intimate celebrations for international couples across Italy.

Over the past 15 years, I have photographed more than 500 weddings and collaborated with luxury brands such as Gucci, experiences that deeply influenced my visual approach, attention to detail, and understanding of timeless aesthetics. Some dreams I fulfilled were mine; others belonged to the people who trusted me to tell their stories. Many of those clients eventually became friends.

Photography entered my life during one of its hardest moments. When I was 28, a serious motorcycle accident suddenly ended my career as a pilot. Everything I thought my future would be disappeared overnight. Picking up a camera became more than learning a new craft; it became a way to rebuild myself, my identity, and my idea of beauty and connection.

Looking at myself in the mirror and truly liking what I saw had never come naturally to me. Maybe this is why I became fascinated by photographing people so deeply. Through photography, I discovered a different way of observing human beings; their emotions, insecurities, relationships, and the quiet beauty hidden inside vulnerability. I wanted people to feel free in front of my camera, never judged, never forced into something artificial.

Today, photography is still deeply emotional for me. My work is not only about aesthetics or beautiful locations; it is about preserving human connection in the most honest and timeless way possible. Whether I am photographing a luxury wedding in Tuscany, an intimate elopement on the Amalfi Coast, or a celebration by Lake Como, my goal is always the same: creating images that still feel alive decades later.

Since 2022, my life has changed in the most beautiful and unexpected way. I found a relationship that completely transformed my existence and gave me a new perspective on love, family, and partnership. My family grew, and together with my partner, also a wedding photographer, we created Manta Wedding Studio, a shared vision built around emotion, storytelling, and artistic freedom.

In 2025, our little Emma was born, making life even fuller and more meaningful. So now my daughters are two, the cats are two, and we also have a dog named Spuma.

I also have an older daughter, Sofia, who is 21. Beyond photography, animals have always been a fundamental part of my life. I have a horse named Victoria; she was rescued from abuse and came into my life through the Save the Dogs / Sponsor a Horse long-distance adoption program.

Today, I simply feel grateful. Grateful for the people I meet, for the stories I am invited into, and for the possibility of turning real moments into lasting memories all across Italy.

So, there’s my life and my dreams for you.
If you’d like, we can talk about yours…

I Know Italy From the Inside

Being born and raised in Tuscany allows me to photograph Italy from a deeply personal perspective. Beyond the iconic landscapes, I know the hidden countryside roads, the quiet villages, the changing light through the seasons, and the atmosphere international couples dream about when they imagine getting married in Italy.

From the rolling hills of Val d’Orcia to the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Venice, and Puglia, my approach is always guided by authenticity, emotion, and a genuine connection with the places I photograph.

For me, Italy is not just a destination; it is home. And this changes the way I see, feel, and tell every story.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with international couples traveling to Italy in search of an emotional, elegant, and deeply authentic wedding experience.
Most of my clients come from the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia and choose Italy for its beauty, intimacy, and timeless atmosphere. I specialize in destination weddings, luxury elopements, and editorial-inspired celebrations across Tuscany, Lake Como, the Amalfi Coast, Venice, and Puglia.
My approach is especially appreciated by couples looking for natural emotions, refined aesthetics, and storytelling that feels honest rather than overly posed

WHY COUPLES CHOOSE ME

Couples often describe my work as emotional, cinematic, honest, and timeless. Beyond photography, they value my calm presence, attention to detail, and ability to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
My goal is not simply to document a wedding day, but to create photographs that feel alive decades later.

PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE.
